GE Fanuc Series 90-70 module, catalog number IC697CPX928-FE, is a central processing unit, mainly used to execute user programs downloaded to the CPU memory. The CPU module is a single-slot chassis with an 80486DX4 microprocessor running at 96 MHz and performing 0.4µs per Boolean function. The module comes with onboard memory of 6MB of battery backup RAM and 256KB of non-volatile user flash memory, in which the CPU firmware is also stored.
